Vanilla Base Fortified Protein Oats
CHOP VANILLA BASE is nutritious as it comes, but unlike other CHOP flavours, it has no added multivitamin, dried fruit or more than a very slight vanilla flavour. Like all CHOP varieties it still includes two types of oats, chia seeds and natural whey protein, to deliver the slow burn carbs and recovery nutrition needed while training.
Although perfectly edible straight, it’s intended for athletes who want to add further ingredients for taste.
It’s a bit of extra effort, but infinitely variable.
Consider:
Frozen berries (add the night before when mixing)
Some chewy dried fruit (raisins, chopped apricots, cranberries, etc)
Crunchy nuts or seeds (add just before eating)
A spoonful of nut butter or jam
Fresh fruit
Natural or flavoured yoghurt
Contains 10 (large) servings of 500kcal and 30g of protein, when served with whole milk. That’s about right for a medium sized male athlete after a moderate 1-hour session, so you can adjust up or down according to need and appetite.
